Véletlen félmaraton / Accidental Half Marathon

A hétvégén kimentünk Monccsal a közeli zöldterületre mozogni. Én futottam, ő bringával követett. Gyönyörű idő volt, a mostani esők miatt minden újra kizöldült. Még sosem láttuk ilyen szépnek ezt a parkot! Össze-vissza csatangoltunk, majd amikor jól elfáradtunk, hazafelé vettük az irányt. Annyira kivoltam a végére, hogy kellet 2-3 óra pihenés otthon, mire újra volt kedvem egyáltalán beszélni... Együkünk sem számított rá, de 21km-nyit csatangoltunk, a nagy részét futva, tekerve. Egy véletlen félmaraton. :)

On the weekend we went out to the nearby green area with Monika just to move a bit. I was jogging she was biking along. The weather was sunny and warm and because of the recent rains everything was harsh green. We haven't seen this park so beautiful like this! We wondered around for a while, then when we got really tired headed for home. A was so exhausted by the end I needed 2-3 hrs rest at home to get back my mood for speaking at all... None of us expected we jogged/cycled 21kms - an accidental half marathon. :)

Barátok Madridban / Friends in Madrid

Milyenek a véletlenek! Gyulus barátom is itt Madridban kapott munkát és most két irodaházzal arrébb dolgozik, mint mi, szoktunk együtt ebédelni. :)

What a surpize! A friend of mine moved to Madrid to work. Now he works only two buildings further than us, sometimes we have lunch together. :)

 
                                     The Welcome Drink

Moncs egyik régi barátnője, Gabi, akivel még Londonban tanultak együtt, szintén ellátogatott Madridba. Az egyik itt élő mexikói barátja, Daniel az egyik este elvitt minket egy mexikói étterembe. Chillis sör, guacamole, sok fűszer. Szerettük!

Gabi an old Hungarian friend of Monika, with whom she met first in London, visited her friend here in Madrid. It happens the friend is Mexican and he took us to a Maxican restaurant. Chilli beer, guacamole, loads of spice - we loved it! :)

Bettem néhány városos képet is a piásak mellé. :) / I put some sightseeing pictures beside the drinker ones... :)

Társasági látogatás

Olyan volt ez az 5 nap otthon, mint egy jól szervezett villámlátogatás: percre pontosan kiszámolva követték egymást a várt és nem várt események - több program nem is fért volna bele ebbe a szűk 126 órába! Találkoztam vagy 30 barátommal és rokonommal, és az ügyeimet intézgetve letekertem kb. 150 kilométert. Voltam az okmányirodában elintézni a még Malagában ellopott rendszámunk pótlását, és rendeltem elvitelre két első lengéscsillapítót is a kocsihoz, a rakoncátlankodók helyett (otthon olcsóbbak az ilyen dolgok). Hát, hazafelé alig bírtam felemelni a nagy hátizsákomat, amikor már minden cucc ÉS a lengéscsillapítók is benne voltak! :)

Az utolsó otthon töltött napon Norbi elhívott a Kopaszi-gátra a Shönhertz kolesz Dot Mátrix bilujára. Ebből az alkalomból a műegyetem 18 emeletes koleszének ablakait egyetlen nagy kijelzővé változtatják. Sajnos műszaki hiba miatt aznap nem tudtak életet lehelni a vezérlőrendszerbe, ezért a versenyző műsorszámokat csak néhány nappal később láthatta teljes pompájában a nagyérdemű. Hogy hogyan is kell ezt elképzelni, arra itt van a tavalyi legjobb:

Social Visit

These 5 days at home were like a well organized flying visit: expected and not expected events followed each other on the minute. No more program could have fit in this tight 126 hours! I met 30 of my friends and relatives, and while I was managing my stuffs I cycled around 150 kms. I arranged a new plate instead of the one which was stolen in Malaga at the local council administration office, and ordered two replacment front suspensions from my mechanic taking away. Well, I hardly could lift my big backpack when all my stuff AND the suspensions were all packed in! :)

During my last night at home a friend of mine invited me to watch the Dot Matrix Party. For this occasion they switch the lights of the dormitory building as a huge display at the Technical University. Unfortunately the had technical problems that night and we couldn't enjoy the show, but here is the best of the last year:

Next morning on the way home I passed the new Megyer(Colbert) Bridge which is part of the motorway ring around Budapest. It's ninckname (Colbert Bridge) comes from the comedian Stephen Colbert who won twice the naming poll on the Internet. I missed the the opening ceremony next day according to the following link it was really spectacular:
